Paul Meiners graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1969, from Trinity College in 1971, and received a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1974.

He became the Senior Pastor of Salem Evangelical Free Church, Staten Island, New York, in July of 1974 and served there until joining the EDA staff as Associate Superintendent for Pastoral Care in 1995. He became the District Superintendent in July of 1998.

Paul and his wife, Marilyn, live in Allentown, PA, and have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren.
