Windsor Chapel is committed to missions...
We are committed to our Lord’s Great Commission: to make disciples of all nations (Matt.28:16-18). As a pivotal part of our calling to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ, we've prayerfully and financially supported missionaries and ministries all over the world. We believe Jesus gave us a clear fourfold target in his "Acts1:8 strategy", a very practical plan for involving any mission-minded church in the task of world evangelization. . .
"And you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
- In Jerusalem - Local Evangelism or our own geographical area, where we live, where we can be most directly involved in reaching our own non-believing family and friends for Christ. It’s relational, cultivating intentional and "contagious" relationships with non- believers programmatic, designing effective outreach opportunities to support the relational emphasis. Here's the harvest field we as Jesus' witnesses are called to reach for Christ, a challenge we can easily ignore or neglect.. We're praying for a team here at the Chapel to help us build bridges with unchurched friends. The team’s focus will include evangelism training, planning creative outreach events, implementing direct mail outreach and assisting other church ministries in seeing their evangelistic potential.
- Judea - Regional, National Evangelism or the broader metropolitan area of Princeton,New Jersey or the entire nation, where the physical location or relational connection is somewhat removed from our direct impact. We're privileged to have several ministers here at the Chapel who focus on "generation next". Campus Crusade, Intervarsity, Navigators and Young Life, their strategic purpose is to reach students with the gospel of Jesus Christ and raise up the next generation of Christian leaders and missionaries.
Our "Judean" missionaries include:
Ron and Char Bystrom at Princeton,
Laura Vallenga and Dale and Jenny Young at TCNJ
Greg Ganssle at Yale, and
Joe Violi at Rutgers, the largest "on campus" student body in the nation,
Jen and Scott Thomson in New Haven at Yale
We are working with the Trenton Family Preservation House to meet the needs of the shelter for homeless families and the Chester House, for homeless woment. Please click here for a listing of things you may have that can meet their needs.

- The World - Cross-cultural Missions or to the unreached people groups where the is no functioning church or effective Christian witness. While this is the traditional view of world missions, it continues to be very strategic. We plan a summer missions trip to Brazil with the goal of planting a church, in partnership with E3 Ministries. Click here for a pdf version of the brochure.
